This restaurant in Seattle is a great place for omnivores, vegetarians, and vegans alike.
The menu is fresh and local (Nettles!) and mediterranean-influenced. Lots of silky house tahini and roasted things. Piping hot pitas! Plus, Seattle-style, the wallpaper is ah-mazing. To get to Homer, you can take the light rail from the Seattle Avalara office just a few stops southward to the Beacon Hill station, just a block away from the station.
Save room for their famous ice cream. Abigail and Lizzie didn't, and still regret that!
Lizzie and I got in while we still could, and even then it took her connections. Its humble ambition to be just a great neighborhood joint is being foiled. https://www.seattlemet.com/articles/2019/10/7/homer-is-seattle-met-s-2019-restaurant-of-the-year.
